Según un comunicado de la banda, Jani Lane ha vuelto a dejar de formar parte de de la formación y ahora mismo Robert Mason (Lynch Mob, Cry of Love, Big Cock) es su sustituto.

Este es el comunicado:

"It is with the deepest regret that we have to announce that Jani Lane will no longer be performing with WARRANT.

"From the beginning of our reunion talks to the last note of our last show together in Houston this past weekend [on August 31 at the Rock The Bayou festival], we have had nothing but good intentions of bringing a quality original WARRANT show to our fans and friends.

"We wish Jani nothing but the best and remain friends.

"We are very excited that we have found an unbelievable voice in Robert Mason, an old friend of the band. We have three dates confirmed, come out and judge for yourself… We don't think you will be disappointed!"

Pues nada, ya puede echarse a dormir y seguir ganando dinero con los derechos del Cherry Pie.

Bueno, yo creo que llevaban un tiempo muertos, esto ha sido un intento de resurrección que no ha dado resultado .

Jani está fuera de bolos y ya está,Warrant no eran la repenocha con él y tampoco lo serán con otro. Grabaron algún buen tema y tuvieron éxito pero no eran una banda tan cojonuda como los Crue,Ratt o Dokken.

Esta claro que esta acabado pero tengo que defender el talento de un tio que compone todos los temas de Warrant, entre ellos temazos como Down Boys, Sometimes She Cries, Heaven,Cherry Pie, Uncle Tom's Cabin, I Saw red, Bed of Roses, Blind Faith, April 2031, the bitter Pill, Andy Warhol..., All My Bridges are burning, The Bitter Pill,Let It Rain,Stronger now.

Yo me quedo con todos los tipos normalitos como Jani, para todavia Motley Crue no ha hecho un disco (excepto el Dr. Feelgood) a la altura de los tres primeros de Warrant, de Ratt no hablo porque no soy capaz de escuchar un tema cantado por su cantante, y Dokken me parecen buenos pero tampoco me apasionan.

en fin paco,ya sabes que sobre gustos...pero Warrant reconozcamoslo no son más que un sucedaneo de las tres bandas que te he nombrado por mucho que Lane cante mejor que Pearcy,Neil o incluso Don Dokken. Nadie puede negar que sea el alma mater del grupo y que haya compuesto la gran mayoria de canciones pero de ahí a decir que es un genio hay un abismo.

Puede que no sea un genio, pero tambien hay un abismo en decir que es un tio normalito con los discazos que ha sacado.
